Word of the Week
" And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head. "
The alabaster box that she broke and poured over Jesus was worth so much money in that day. The people that were watching, including the disciples, saw it as waste. Yet Jesus honored the woman and said she "hath wrought a good work on me." Jesus was saying that when anybody pours anything costly on Him it is never a waste.
